Tips to care eyes in summer



God has been very kind to bestow many boons to us. All senses that he has given us are the real boon to human being. He has very well granted them to us, considering our need and requirement to survive in the world. Vision is the most precious thing that god has gifted us. Thus, it is essential to care your eyes in right and healthy way. You just need to take some simple measures to protect your eyes from wrinkles, dark circles, infections, and blur vision.

The harmful sunrays emitted during summer season are not good for eyes. They lead to many health problem of eyes. Eyes are the most sensitive part of the body, thus they need to protect from harshness of summer season.  This season eyes care tipsdehydrates your body, whereas eyes should always remain hydrated. Or else it might lead to infection. We are providing you with some simple measures to care your eyes:

  • Consume lot of green leafy veggies that is rich source of beta carotene, as it will keep your eyes healthy and good. Indulge vegetables and fruits such as spinach, drumsticks, mangoes, papaya, and carrots. Add these food items in your daily diet, which will protect your eyes from infections. All these food contains good amount of Vitamin C, A, E, selenium, and zinc that keeps your eyes healthy and protected against ailments related to eyes.
  • Regularly wear your sunglasses with sufficient UV protection. As your eyes face direct sunrays, it causes severe damage to the cells of eyes. Choose the glasses that will provide you adequate protection.
  • Drink plenty of water throughout the day; at least consume eight to ten glass of water. Drinking water will protect your eyes from puffiness and swellings. It also helps you in flushing out all toxic substance in your body.
  • Plash cool water on your eyes at regular intervals, which will relax your stressed eyes. The splashing of water will keep your eyes hydrated.
  • Late night work or working for long hours on computer will strain your eyes. Thus, divert your eyes from computer and take rest for ten to fifteen minutes. View some natural sight that will give pleasure to your eyes. Or you may even keep a cold compressor on your eyes for ten to fifteen minutes. Close your eyes and rest for sometime to relax your eyes.
  • One of the easiest remedy to moisturize your eyes is application of milk. Milk being a natural cleanser is safe to use on eye problems. Dip a cotton ball in cool milk, and clean your eyes with a wipe.
  • You may replace milk with rose water, as some people dislike milk. Put two to three drops of rose water in your eyes with the help of dropper. While traveling you can carry a small spray bottle containing rose water. Spray the rose water on your face and eyes whenever you feel tired and dehydrated. Rose water helps your eyes to glow.
  • Place a small and thin slice of potato or cucumber on your eyes to remove dark circles. Keep this slice for ten how to care your eyesminutes and rinse off your eyes. This remedy also protects your eyes from wrinkles and puffiness.
  • Do not rub your eyes with hands as, it might lead to infection. Rather blink your eyes for few minutes and get relaxed.

    In my opinion,eye make-up tends to irritate the eyes.As much as possible, one should not wear mascara during summer or any eye make-up at all.Plus regular sleep is good for the eyes too!At least 6-8 hours of sleep will do the trick!
