The female species usually get very tense with the start of winter season. Their heart melts down when they witness their glowing skin turning into dry, itchy and pathetic due to the change in seasons. And apart from that winter is the season of fest, fun and parties. Thus to look the best in all these parties you need to have amazing glow on your skin.

Let me first tell you that seasons may come and go but you need to maintain the health of your skin in all the conditions. I do know it is a bit difficult but definitely it is not impossible. Just little effort and you have all the feathers in your cap. So to enjoy your winter fest and parties with glowing skin just follow some of the home methods that are very effective. No doubt that there are plentiful of cosmetics and creams available in the market but, all those have very temporary effect on the skin. Adding more to it, they are very much addictive to the skin. Instead of spending so many pennies on these products why not invest in healthy food stuffs? And explore yourself to the world of kitchen as they have solution to all the health problems.

Well, I have experienced some of the remedies which were offered by my kitchen and to your surprise these all are inexpensive and most effective remedies:nutritious food

  • At first check out your daily diet. Grab the most healthiest and nutritious food that is available. People often complain that you don’t get healthy food everywhere. But these all are excuse. The place which might offer us some great cheese burger will also provide us with vegetable sandwich. A bowl of fresh fruits or vegetables is anytime better than the fried food stuffs. Consume all the nutrients that are required on the daily bases by the body. And most importantly never skip your meal.
  • Drink plenty of water. Water is the most vital element of the body and thus, it is required in ample amount. Water helps in flushing out all the toxic matter from the body. As the body frees from all the toxic substances the blood circulation in body gets improved which prevents us from any infection.
  • A simplest way is to apply ice cube before leaving the home. Apply it on all the parts which will be exposed to the sun or environment. Even ice cube can help your skin glow. You may also apply it before going to bed. This will leave your skin with smooth texture.
  • Cut down on the consumption of tea, coffee and carbonated drinks. Tea and coffee do trigger the nerve sensation but also dehydrates body which kills the cells on skin. Carbonated drinks contains good amount of acid which destroys the health of our skin. It takes away all the moisture from the body making the skin look worse.
  • Drink lots of fruit juice to maintain the health of your skin. Instead of sipping tea or coffee, consume lime juice that is sweetened with honey.
  • Sipping carrot juice is also considered very healthy and nutritious. It is useful in making your skin glow naturally.   • Tomatoes have amazing effect on skin. Just put on some pulp of tomatoes on skin which is also very helpful. You can boost the color of you skin by mixing some amount of curd with tomato juice and applying it daily before your bath.
  • An easy and natural way to keep your skin healthy in winter is to take some cold showers. I know it sounds a bit weird to take cold showers in chill weather but, they really have incredible results on the skin.
  • Mix one teaspoonful of walnut powder with juice of lemon and honey. Rub the mixture on the skin; it will cleanse the skin, removing all the dead cells on the body. This twenty minutes process helps you in gaining a soft and clean skin.
  • Prepare a thick paste by mixing orange juice with turmeric powder. Apply it on the part that is frequently left open in the chill weather or sun. Wash off the face with cold water after twenty minutes and see the results.

  • Just scrub the skin with a piece of papaya and rinse it off with warm water. This also creates wonders on the skin.
  • Water prepared by boiling cabbage should be kept overnight. Then use this water to wash your face in the morning. Even this method leaves marvelous effects on the skin.
  • Create a paste from the powder of mango peels with one teaspoonful of milk powder. Put it all over the skin that is extremely open to the natural elements like cold or sun. Rinse it off after few minutes and see the effects.
  • Mix rose water with equal proportion of vinegar and dab it on the skin. This leaves skin with wonderful smooth texture.
  • Prepare a paste from red sandalwood and milk or water. Put this paste on the face regularly which gives awesome glow to the skin.
  • Massage your skin with the mixture of coconut milk and a dash of turmeric powder prior to you morning bath. The massage followed by hot bath even relieves from stress.
  • Blend the juice of carrot and pineapple and spread it all over the face. Rinse it off after fifteen minutes and feel the change on your skin.
  • Prepare a mixture of multani mitti with half teaspoonful of dried curry leaf powder and put it on the face. Let it get dry and later on wash it off with warm water.
  • Mix the juice of tomato and honey. Use this mixture on the face and cleanse it after a span of fifteen minutes with lukewarm water.
  • Dab a combination of thick juice of pineapple with coconut water for approximately fifteen minutes and experience the change in your skin.
  • All these methods will be invalid if you’re not consuming healthy diet. Comprise your diet with ample of fresh fruits, sprouts and green salads. Instead of grabbing some chocolates during the snack time, munch on some dried fruits and unsalted nuts.light exercise
