Stress is an ongoing mental illness that is socially acceptable. Stress can be of various types, it is related on the lifestyle of a person, that what type of stress is he undergoing. It is very necessary to be aware of various types of stress that people face.
Good stress
Stress is not necessarily to be termed as a negaholic. People generally focus on negative aspects of stress which leads in various healths related problems. Good stress can be defined as the excitement that you feel during certain events. Eg: graduations, festivals, weddings etc. Stress builds up when body undergoes certain unusual experiences, no matter positive or negative. Good stress is caused because of the extreme changes that take place in your normal routine. This is generally not recognized by many people as stress, because in such events, your mind & body is totally for it. These short spurts of stress are actually good for your immune system. This type of stress is inevitable & is beneficial for a healthy living.
Internal Stress
Internal stress refers to worrying about things that are not under your control or unnecessarily worrying. It’s a type of negative stress. In this type of stress, a person may constantly have to deal with threats, changes & unfamiliar & unpredictable situations. It generally takes place when the body cant find secured. It is a kind of distress. This is when people make themselves stressed out by internally worrying or excessive negative thinking.
Hypostress
Hypostress means absence of stress that is a situation of extreme boredom. It generally occurs when there is no change in the routine for a long period of time. This may demotivate the individual by the feeling of complacent, uselessness & lack of inspiration. This may lead to depression as the person may feel that there is nothing to do in his life.
Acute stress
People tend to face this type of stress, when they have to deal with situations that they cannot handle. This is a type of
hyper stress. This mainly occurs when a person is exposed to any traumatic events. Acute stress is a chronic stress that affects individual for long or short period of time. It is severe from the other types of stress & anxiety disorders. Acute stress is too much exhaustive, as it is characterized by disassociative & anxiety symptoms.
Useful stress
Eustress or useful stress makes your body & mind aware of the challenges on your way. This stress will assist you by helping to deal with situations rather than backing out. This will help you to keep you energized & engaged in handling situations the best. Eustress may also help you to make decisions in your daily routine. This can also be categorized under good stress. Eustress will make you feel internally strong & full of energy.
