A recent research conducted by the Pew Research Center, based on a national survey, found out that the Americans thought of single motherhood as a curse to the society. The attitude of more than 50 % of the American populace towards single motherhood was negative. This means averagely 7 on 10 said that single mothers are ‘bad for the society’.
